Great… They finally arrived: my new Hoka One One Clifton shoes… Eager to try and test them tonight!
As it is my goal to finish the #TDS2015 later this year, I will have to increase my mileage in the future months. Therefore I was looking for a more cushioning shoe and started reading about Hoka One One. First of all, let me be very clear:
Researchers found no difference in injury rates between runners wearing soft vs hard midsole shoes.
However: 80% of running is in the mind… So if other shoes make you more comfortable in the head: use them! 🙂 And that’s why I want to try these beauties.
Tonight I’m running with the boys and girls of Gentloopt (fartlek), so perhaps I will already have formed an opinion on these Hoka’s by tomorrow 😉
